“Were a candidate, subsequently elected president, to appeal to the Court, the lawyers could say that by participating, personally, in the process, he had been estopped, or barred, from further questioning the legality of the appointment, should the court uphold its ruling.” – Manuel Quezon III
Now this is a very good reason why I am not going to vote this coming election. Manuel Quezon III couldn’t have said it any better.
To rephrase his words it would say:
“Were a voter subsequently entrusted with the power to vote and by doing so could say that by participating, personally in the process he had been estopped, or barred, from further questioning the legality of the Arroyo administration, should the practice of voting come to pass.”
