Since my muses are just tingling as of the moment and have been bothering me after a very long hiatus, I was tasked to write something of import or so I think, but anyway what you are about to read is something about the inherent fear of filipino voters on voting for Noynoy Aquino I would say it is their lasting doubt over the person that bothers me. Perhaps they have been conditioned to be afraid for a long time by GMA and her cohorts or they were just unsure of themselves nonetheless I always believe that education is the key to understanding a person and an ideology. I am not convincing you to vote for Noynoy in fact i’d like you to verify the facts first before choosing him as your president. And if you have any reactions over my thoughts please feel free to write a comment or two. ^_^

1. On Ninoy as Noynoys’ father, what can I say? Ninoy is Ninoy and Noynoy is never his father but he is his fathers son and his track record proved that he is not corrupt and he always took a stand on something. As for the Hacienda Luisita problem I am very sure he didn’t own all of it and as such he even has his qualms over it suffice to say if we judge him according to something he has no complete power over it would be pretty much unfair to say the least.
2. On Cory being his Mom, I also have my doubts over Cory she might not be a good president not to mention a good politician but she is a good mom and in fact that was what she wanted the people only wanted her to go to office because they believed in her and her steadfast faith and simplicity, a lot of coup attempts happened but she never implemented martial law save even a state of emergency not even when they shot her own son Noynoy yes he was shot for his mom and for this country yet he lived. As for the Mendiola massacre I have my sources from former comrades who stated that the main intention of that rally was to sow terror and terror it was and it is being continued by the CPP-NPA. I don’t want this to come from me but they brought it to themselves. Come to think of it if you’ve read their history you would learn about a very simple episode such as the CPP-NPA purges and why they don’t want people to know about it. Also the great cleavage of the party in mid 90′s I guess we should read about it.
3. On Noynoy, He might just be another politician riding on his mother and fathers’ popularity but his record has always been clean he never stole anything from anyone his actions are simple and discreet he has done a lot of things albeit not much that we know of as good people are not the kind who blabbers about their good works. But coming from a family who has lost a father from a bullet of a dictator and a mother for the love of country I’d say we think twice before we write that vote down.
Ironically it would be really ironic if by writing this I am also stating that I am going to vote thing is I can’t and for the life of me I couldn’t but thats just me I still hope you vote for the right candidate and never take my word for itself better yet I suggest we verify my claims and think of the future so there.

“he always took a stand on something”
Please specify. As far as I know, he never took a stand on anything, and he never dared to take some risks. Look at his life, he never really struck it on his own. Even his being a politician is not his own doing, but his mother. Regarding the RH bill, he’s the co-author, right? What is his stand on it now? He was very bold at first to say that he is a pro-RH bill, but when the Church spoke that they might not support him because of his pro-RH bill stand, he chicken out…
Let me ask you, how is he as a leader? Inefficient leader and a corrupt leader will lead the country to ruin just the same.
Hello Jonas,
I don’t know where you are getting your information when all of the things I’ve written above are all in the news. He chickened out? Are you ok? Please verify your facts before making such bold statements ass these.
Noynoy did stand against passing the national budget because of glaring discrepancies. Jonas if you are a taxpayer, you would understand why that is a big thing for us.
Noynoy stood up for my MONEY. 44% of our income goes to taxes – that’s 32% income tax + 12% VAT. I only get to bring 56% of my hard earned money home. I don’t mind for as long as those in power could at least channel that money to social services. As it is, it is used to build Mickey and Datu houses in the states.
I support Noynoy because he gives a damn about our hard earned income. I will vote for him because of all the other presidentiables he was the only one I’ve seen trying to safeguard that money.
