Next year will be 2010, an election will happen or ought to happen. But instead at the back of my head I purposely hope that it will push thru or that if it will push thru it will be a credible one.
You see I have a number of fears to deal with:
One of them is the capacity of Filipinos to be complacent and to vote for the ones with more money. Never mind the principles or how very well the candidate campaigned for the past few years (infomercials) or perhaps months. It all boils down to money.
I can understand Cory Aquino winning before because we have a whole lot reason to hate Marcos after the death of Ninoy.
My logic is this, how are we to act on a specific ideal that is voting, if we cannot clean up the act of the current administration?
Who are we as a people who call ourselves dissenters by the power of the ballot, answer for the injustices being done to us everyday?
By partaking of the elections not only are we giving credence to the current administration, we also give credence to the idea that we can never change something wrong unless we change the person in power. I think such reasoning devoids us of our power as a citizen.
Why can’t we prosecute and prove GMA wrong now and before? Why should we wait until election time before we can change this society? What power does GMA holds that she can dictate when and how shall change come?
But alas such is the practice of Democracy, as if we are bound to agree to all the injustices until such time that we are given the chance to change our government by another election. That’s how stupid it is and that’s how stupid it was.
Then came Noynoy Aquino.
Noynoy Aquino is his father and mothers’ son and thats all one has to think about if one has to vote for him.
But lets’ give Noynoy Aquino the benefit of the doubt.
He may not be like his mother, or he might excessively pale in comparison to his father but he had the silent mystery that disarms even the most arduous critic.
Even so I hope that he has answers for the following:
1. The Reproductive health bill.
2. The Hacienda Luisita tragedy.
3. The massive cheating to be done this upcoming elections.
4. The possibility of a failure of elections.
5. What he would do if he wins the elections would he prosecute the former President?
6. His stance on globalization.
7. The national debt which his mother so proudly wanted to pay for at the expense of our economy.
8. The question of the muslim south.
9. His stand on the NDF.
10. His capacity to create jobs and how he would address the problem of brain drain.
But anyway If you’d ask me who I’ll vote president come 2010, I would say Noynoy Aquino. But thats for another entry. And this would do for now.

He’s the best, his virtues, his spirituality, his unconditional love for his mother and to his only nephew Jiggy, the man who has rejected marriage and women only because he want to devote his life for a service to nation, then he is the right candidate we should go for.
Are you serious????? Are you for real????
Rejected marriage or nobody wants to marry him?
Noynoy may remain silent on the Hacienda Luisita massacre/tragedy but I still have faith in him.
Because it is true because many people until now does not obtain their justice,, he expect fully be in silence,,
of course he should obtain silence because the issue about the Hacienda Luisita is true,,he cannot deny it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i dont care e e e er!

We are on the stage like we were on Marcos days. We need Noynoy for a change!
Noy Aquino is an idiot. He is an embarrassment to the Philippines. All he does is ride on his mother’s coat tail. Even bigger idiots are the people that voted for him.
