I was about to write this at the eve of our national heros birthday and boy was I intrigued and happy to find out that one of the (Search Engine Optimization) SEO Specialist in the Philippines is the great great great granddaughter of the first love of our National Hero Jose Rizal!
Anyway the name of the grand daughter is Jade-Ceres Dolor a very cheerful person with always a smile on her face. I met her after one of the SEO meet ups in makati and when I visited her facebook I was very happy to chance upon this picture of her and her grandmother. In her own words shes the eldest girl of the 4th generation from her (Segunda Katigbak) first child.
To tell you honestly I have always been intrigued by the past loves of Jose Rizal, I thought that maybe there was somebody who really inspired him and who would it be but the first love of the national hero somebody whom he will not forget and the first person who charmed him but unfortunately the girl he so dearly love was meant to be engaged to a certain Manuel Luz. (thus began his search for the love of his life)
I was thinking had it been that Jose Rizal married Segunda Katigbak then our history would’ve been a whole lot different.
But anyway here’s to you dear hero I present you with the great great great granddaughter of your first love Jade-Ceres Dolor.
