I will definitely vote for Sen. Gordon. He seems a humble man and with word of honor. It's unfortunate that he doesn't have the wealth to do all those public/media campaign as compare to Sen. Villar who is a wealthy businessman.

I will pick 3 best; roxas, escudero, fernando, …..the 4th is not on the list, it would be nice if Sen. Santiago is still in her prime. Our country needs a good change, for the Filipino people, I mean the “FILIPINO”. Next is Binay kasi ganda ng makati although corrupt may nappmahagi s tao, bka skali bigyan tyo pag nkakuha n sya ng pork barrel diba.
Ayaw ko kay Villar, malaki na kasi ang gastos niya kahit wala pang campaign period. Babawiin lang niya pag nakaupo na siya. Ganun din si Roxas, Binay at iba pang mga kandidato na katulad nila. Sawa na ako sa mga trapo at mga pa cute na kandidato. Ayaw ko na rin sa isang walang hiyang pangulo na tulad ni Erap na tatakbo pa rin kahit nakulong na. Yakks. Sana may tatakbo na walang bahid na dumi ang pagkatao at siya ang iboboto ko.

It is SAD to hear that we belong to the top list of the most corrupt country. On my own point of view, it has a reason why it exists.
We have to face the fact that we voters are the one who pulled the politicians to become corrupt as well. Look, during election, they have to spend MILLIONS to get attentions from the voters, some will say “ di ko iboboto ang kandidatong ito kasi di man lang nagpakain o nagpa-inom”. Others will say “ di ko iboboto because d man lang nambigay kahit sampo?”. If I am the candidate, I have to gamble, spend my MILLIONS as far as I could so when I’ll be in the position, this will come in return… by all means…!

Francis “Chiz” escudero is my choice. He has the most education (for the job) out of all the candidates as well as decent leadership experience. We should all read about the candidates before making our votes. Each and every one of them have good intensions for the country so, whoever wins for 2010 he will take responsibilities for his leadership decisions and all others should conform to the new president. One major problem we have in the Philippines is Unity. We are not united in our Ideologies. One way to defeat this is to just let the next president run the show bad or good and he/she will take the full responsibilities of his/her decisions.
corruption will be and should be the last thing we can fix in the Philippines. corruption is the sideeffect of poverty. Even a good person with a good heart will get corrupted in a bad situation. Kahit gano ka kabait kong masama and situation mo makakagawa ka nang masama! To fix philippines we have to fix it one step at a time. The first step would be to unite all ideologies/politicalparties. this would improve efficiancy right away. We need a president who can unite the philippines. 2nd step would be communication from the president to the poorist person in the philippines and back from the poorist to the President. this can be done by education and unity. 3d would be the one every wants which is economic standing, and this would come as an outocme of unity and education. foriegners would invest in country, buisenesses would bloom, more job for every one, and each and everyone will feel the results. UNITY is the key, from the democratic, communist,muslims, christian, and all others in the philippines.
once the philippines has gain economic growth -corruption would automatically be lower since most would be sattisfied with their jobs and families. I just finished watching the interview of the presidential candidates and came to a conclusion that “Chiz Escudero” is not fit to assume the duties of a leader. He “was” my first option as president judging from his education, but does not have good judgment and leadership qualities. He insists on false accusations which breaks the unity, and clouds the judgment of our citizens. He also has a foul mouth speaking about physical appearance of the President. This is an absolute sign of immaturity, and therefore i conclude that he does not have the quality of a good leader. To be a good leader you have to be a good follower. Chiz Escudero should not be our next president.

HE IS QUITE CAPABLE TO DELIVER CHANGES TO OUR COUNTRY WITH HIS EDUCATIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND GOVERNMENTAL EXPERIENCES. MAY THIS BE THE BEGINNING OF A BETTER GOVERNMENT FOR OUR PEOPLES INTEREST. Ang hirap sa mga atin mga Pilipino, we base our opinion in what we see and what we feel on the shallow part on these candidates. I have nothing against Gordon,like you said, he seems humble. Di ba dapat ang tingnan natin kung ano ang nagawa nya para sa bayan? Law improvement, economy, etc? Manny Villar is a wealthy man, and that’s because he worked very hard to go this sucessful.he is an inspiration to filipinos who are very poor yet he proved we can step up kahit galing sa hirap. He’s achievement in business, in politics is essential for our economy. Please people, we need a well educated man, who understand the tactics how to grow our economy. A knowledgeable leader who understands the poor because he WAS THERE. He’s not just a spoiled priviledged wealthy businessman. He worked hard for it. Let’s not look at the personality only. Let’s look at what they have done so far and what they can do in the future. Foro our ECONOMY na sadyang naghihinalo dahil ang leaders natin ay walang mabuting kaalaman sa business at economiya ng ating bansa. We need a strategical leader to get us ahead like other countries in Asia who are now going forward. Salamat po.

For those presidential candidates, please think for the betterment of the country as a whole and not just a part.Always prioritize the good of all Filipino citizen and set aside self-satisfaction. Running for president is not for fame, nor to gain funds from people, but what matters most is the genuine service by putting the biggest responsibility in your ones hand and showing it into real one. Always put God as the center for all your deeds, because what comes after all is the true service for us Filipino. If you have the fear for the Lord you will never do greater sin which will be carried by your conscience in your entire life. You know what I mean. It’s the usual controversy for all political leaders… Do your best for God and for all men.!

Yes , i agree with one of the bloggers here..why cant we just have a 2 or 3 candidates or even 5 presidential candidates to choose from? this is a reflection of how everyone wanna be the solution , but really are just and has been part of the problem.
Heres my personal take on the candidates above:
Mar Roxas- better suited as a senator for now, not president for 2010..maybe someday.
Chiz Escudero- although my kabayan, too funny to listen-has a weird way of talking tagalog ..smart..but still young and need to learn not to be a QUITTER and dissapoint his supporters.Not a good political move.
Legarda-whoever she tandems with as vice president witll not win..so there goes Villar.
Noli De Castro..sorry kabayan had his time in Malacanang..become too quite without the microphone..he looks more busy going to the States to watch Pacquio fight, than solving problems back home.
Noynoy….too soft…we need a strong leader this time, one that will command respect..get ur attention..and someone u wanna listen to, and Noynoy is not the answer..other than enheriing the background of his family.
But i have enough of the Aquino legacy..i dont know about u ..but Filipinos need to travel a different road this time to write its history.

my choice would either be manny villar or gilberto teodoro.. although i know for sure teodoro wouldn’t win just for the fact that he is endorsed by the president that the majority despises. if people would base their opinion on what the person has done, his credentials and capabilities, they would realize that teodoro is a very competent candidate.
i dont say that all presedentials candidates in 2010 has the power to overcome the crisis in civil wars and rebellion in mindanao.. if they can solve the ampatuan case i believe that the governance of the winner in this presidential election 2010 is much better coz i know that ampatuan case just showing that the politics in the philippines is getting worst showing bad image..
Noynoy Aquino is a reluctant candidate. He was just thrown out there after 1 million people joined the funeral of his mother (Cory Aquino). Parang napilitan lamg s’ya na mag-run to be a presidential candidate.. he does’nt know what to do. People should look at the candidates personal achievements not the achievements of his parents or relatives. Gibo Teodoro is the best choice out there. Look at his qualifications, his platform of govt.,has leadership capabilities. notes his intelligent answers on debates, and he is the only candidate who has credentials on law and order. He’s the only lawyer among them… so on and so forth. Vote for GIBO!!!!!

Ang mga pagpipilian bilang pangulo ay sina Erap, Dick Gordon, Gibo Teodoro, Manny Villar, Jamby Madrigal, Bro. Eddie, JC de los Reyes at Nick Perlas.
Eto lang ang masasabi ko. Si Erap, well, kung wala talaga kayong planong umunlad, iboto niyo siya. The same goes for Manny Villar. Mahirap magkaroon ng negosyante sa malacanang. Sa kanilang lahat, si Teodoro at Gordon na ang pinakamabuting iboto. Si Gibo, parang c Ramos. Mahina sa survey, magaling sa trabaho. Ang nakita ko lang na problema sa kaniya ay ang partido niya. Si Gordon naman, malaki na ang napatunayan bilang mayor ngunit sa kanyang pamunuan, maaaring umulan ng mga Multi National Corporations na walang pigil na sumisira at gumagamit ng mga resources na dapat ay TAYO ANG NAKIKINABANG.
Sa pagkabise-presidente, maganda na sana ang adbokasiya ni Legarda pero sa tinagal niya sa senado, nabawasan ba ang kahayupang ginagawa sa ating kalikasan? Si Binay, subok ng alkalde yan. Tingnan niyo ang ginawa niya sa Makati. Nung naluklok siya sa puwesto noong 1986, halos pinuputakti ng problema ang Makati ngunit matapos ang isang taon ng pamumuno niya, anong nangyari? Naging business capital ang Makati di ba? Si Bayani Fernando, pwede rin dahil sa kanyang pagiging meyor ng Marikina, naging malinis at disiplinado ang Marikina.

1) Estrada Plunder
2) Villar Enrich himself
3) Noynoy Will neither steal, decide, move, resolve, nor do much of anything, unless and until others will push him to do so.
4) Gibo Don’t know much about him
5) Villanueva Mix politics and religion (his religion)
6) Gordon Elevate the standard of living of the people in the territory that he leads. (Same comment is true with his running mate Bayani Fernando)
Each Filipino has a favourite candidate that he ‘likes’. But haven’t we had enough already of so-so traditional politicians and their mediocre tired oft-heard promises.
We need performers, achievers – leaders who can lead their people to betterment without resorting to corruption.
Regardless of who we ‘like’, it cannot be denied that our country ‘needs’ the team of Gordon and Fernando. Six years under them, and I believe that they will leave a lasting mark that will benefit the present and the next generation. Lets help our country, lets grab the chance now that we have these two candidates (Gordon/Fernando) while they are still available to lend their service to us.
We have a chance to change the course of our Philippine history – let’s grab that chance.
