When it rains it pours

You moved into a new house.
Bought some nice clothes.
Went to a fancy restaurant.

Shopped with your loved ones.
Called your mother and told her you’re doing well,
She said she’s glad.
You told her that when she gets’ home you will buy her some nice things.

You went to the gym,
Played with your friends,
Went places and discovered new landmarks.

You bought a computer,
A new one faster than the one before,
You can now afford to buy some new shoes,
so the one you’re using for two years now can take a breather.

Days went by.
You were happy.
At least you say to yourself when I get to have a family,
I could give them a good life.

You thought of buying the most beautiful presents to your loved one.
Perhaps a gold ring ring or a bouquet of roses.
A wonderful dress and a number of shoes.

Then one day you wake up and they all disappear.
The hopes,
The dreams,
The opportunities.

You’re back to square one.

And you say to yourself.

Thats’ Life.
