1. Cebu – lots of great beaches and historical places surely a great find not to mention that there are no kidnappers too compared to Minadano (wink)
2. Bohol - If you are looking for a virgin Island where there are no transportation after 7 pm then this place is yours for the taking it also has the oldest churches to date in the country.
3. Palawan – Relatively expensive but helluva beautiful so do the math and go there soon!
4. Davao – It has the highest mountain in the country other than its really safe (no criminals thanks to the mayor) and dirt cheap you can spend almost half of what you’re spending compared to the first ones listed above (Palawan and Cebu).
5. Boracay – Voted one of the best beaches in the world I say its really as beautiful as it sounds, but not that cheap to begin with, otherwise Its still pristine and lovely.
6. Intramuros (Manila) – The old walled city of the north boasting of the colonial spanish It has gone through a lot of changes nonetheless maintaining its old beauty. Moderately cheap so far.
7. Vigan (Ilocos Sur) - If you want to experience the old city life of colonial Philippines, moderately cheap and really beautiful.
8. Batanes (Northenmost part of Cagayan Valley) – It was said that once you’ve gone to Batanes it’s like going to another dimension and another time. Dirt cheap but have to schedule well for there are lots of storms there.
9. Bicol - The home of the famous perfect cone shaped volcano Mt. Mayon and Butanding (Whale Sharks). Really cheap and people are really nice.
10. Baguio (Benguet) - Highlands and great historical significance this place boasts of Sagada and its cool climate. Affordably cheap but needs great insight for cheaper places to go.
