After reading this article I can’t help but think why people are still doing the things they do even after realizing how dangerous it is. I mean just looking at the map of Mindanao you can see where your life is heading and believe me its’ going to head down or rather yet roll down as is customary over there when it comes to hostages and the like.
And not only did sending the military became more helpful, it actually created a string of murders and war against you don’t know who. Bandits? Nah… These people are more knowledgeable than our congressmen sitting in office. Not that I am vouching for the captors, but I think you understand my point. It is more of trying to look where they are coming from. That is people who are hungry are always and will be ANGRY!
And as my friend from Cotabato told me war is a business venture, either you have it or you lose money, or else the military would have nothing to do anymore.
So again I’d like to ask “Why do you want to die for this government?”
