So how do you link-build? Is there a shortcut for link-building?
Tell you what there are good ways to create one way links but the question is how authoritative would they be?
I have a bunch of strategies to give you an idea how to be really a good linkbuilder.
1. Look for websites that are really interested in what they are doing. Better yet these websites should be able to provide quality content all the time.
2. Create quality content in your website and tell it to people with the same interests as your website, you can have lots and lots of websites lining up to have a look at your content and link back to you.
3. Define your competition, think of what keyword you’re imagining of being on top and search for it. Make a list of competitors and look at where it links to. Make a list of why they link back to this competitors site, then have them link to you.
4. Imagine yourself to be Google, and be as meticulous as ever to look for websites that are really passionate about their topics, and have them link back to you.
5. Get allies! Look for potential partners in your niche (ex: sites that shows videos about your niche) and have them link back to you, not only do you have a group but you will create a following that will make your site more worthy to link to.
6. Add more value to your content by expanding your websites niche to different topics, example if you are a car company then write about “How to take care of cars in bad weather”, “The best cars of 2009″ etc…
7. Look at the internet geographically, I bet there are some sites about cars in Indiana, Boston, Washington. Find them and follow steps 1 – 6.
Link-building may be as hard as hell, but it could be as fun otherwise. And by the way they say page ranks (PR) matter in link-building, as far as I’m concerned as long as the website provides quality content and is passionate about their topic a good PR would follow.
