Too much SEO may sometimes drive you nuts, but this is really as funny as it can get as I came to the conclusion that our national hero Jose Rizal is an SEO genius! Why I was able to come about this conclusion is because of the following:
1. Jose Rizal wrote good content, yes he wrote the Noli and the El Fili and lots of other great essays and articles and because of that he was able to reach his target audience well!
2. He was able to get good keywords to enhance his image or rather the image of a revolution. Such keywords like: Indio, Mestizo and Cancer of society.
3. He had good linkbuilding by gettin partners from out of the country, tying up with a revolutionary paper La Independencia and moving around masonic circles.
4. He has a well optimized image, he dressed well and always looked presentable and open for conversation ideal for social marketing.
5. He has lots of contacts, just like twitter and facebook he contacts them and pokes them from time to time.
So you see if Jose Rizal lived today he would be a great SEO specialist.
