A letter for a friend (to be concluded)

In this letter I was thinking how two friends would converse in a letter, the one asking the other to get out of the country, while the other still to be convinced. Anyway enjoy (this is yet to be concluded though I’m quite busy right now)

Dear Ryan,

I don’t know why you still stay in the Philippines when in fact there is no future there.  I know, I know, you’re really nationalistic and stuff but get real man that country has been growing backwards ever since it was discovered.

Admit it there’s no such thing as a Filipino all of the people there are immigrants in their own ways, malays, chinese, indonesians, indians, etc haven’t you read your history?

I remember what my very rich chinese friend once said, “In the Philippines you can be rich and be filthy rich, because in this country you can just do about anything, bribe anyone even the government so you can get away with whatever mischief you do”.

So you see Ryan this is a loose loose situation your dealing with. Forget the beaches, and the bitches too! Get out of there! do you see the difference where your taxes go there and outside the country? Man its bad news there, your taxes just gets siphoned out by your country’s politicians and whats left are more people getting poorer and a few people getting richer.

Let me ask you this what could be beautiful in the Philippines if its Government and its people don’t care about what happens with each other? It’s not the classic chicken and egg question Ryan, its a matter of looking who you are under and now you are under a government and a society that can only go down. Think about it, it is the only country that would rather keep its intelligent people out than keep them in.

Ryan wake up! You don’t belong there! You belong in a place where your skills will be recognized, where your part in the community is going to be given credit for and your sacrifices will meet their end goals.

You are like a battered wife continually clinging to a promise that never was existent in the beginning. Your country will continually hurt you and maim you no matter what you do.

SO GET OUT! again I’m begging you… GET OUT!
