As usual the same old story over and over again, the EDSA commemoration went on as if nothing happened after having its supposed holiday changed from wednesday to monday. And after the liar President-soon-to-be-remembered-as-the-most-hated spewed some really maligning words towards People Power which she herself benefited from, she calls for stability (of her government that is) of the country rather than showing to investors and other cuntries how unstable our political system is.
Come to think of it, her words are prophetic as it would seem that the only stable thing that has been steadily growing is her continued rise in disatisfaction from the people. I doubt if she even has the gall to live after 2010.
But here are my thoughts on the current government.
1. It has continued enjoying massive support from the military notwithstanding the fact that it was even able to test drive certain “unconstitutional” and “appaling” practices in the midst of the citizenry knowing that theres no suitable opposition head and so goes to take advantage of the situation almost as if smirkingly stating “we can do it now what gives if we do it again? Anyway you filipinos are a stinking ignorant lot who doesn’t give a farts ass whatever’s happenin around you anyway” and I have to admit they’re right all along.
2. Bayani Fernando is trying his best to build his image parallel to GMA. In this alone he has lost the confidence of the Filipino people by even associating himself with that hag. But then what can we do? He’s doing a stellar job as an MMDA chairman if only that he’s not literally pushing his achievements to our face. Talk about humility in action or better yet let him be ready with the idea of being “humble in defeat”. I believe he will vindicate himself if he continues to be an MMDA chairman even after the flight of GMA. I mean, Mr. Fernando your practically helping a criminal and you say you’re doing this in aiding Filipinos? C’mon man you’re better than that, you don’t have to push yourself into swallowing GMA’s lies just to keep your job. I’m sure there are better ways in helping the Filipino people and that is by getting out of the system of corruption and out of the circle of GMA. Wake up! You’re waaaaaaayyyy better than being her lapdog got it?
3. VFA sucks. Don’t explain to me its validity or whatever advantage we get from it, just give me back that darn rapist and put him to where he belongs. (paging President Barack Obama) And oh by doing it give us back our country’s honor will yah?
4. The church lost it. Literally. It lost it. It lost its Unity and its moral integrity. I hope your God smiles down on you and forgive you of your sins to our people.
So here it is! My EDSA celebration rant! I hope I shed some light on the event.
Happy EDSA guys! I hope we REALLY kick ass next time (lets begin with the Marcoses perhaps?)
