The first I heard of Bayani Fernando (BF) was when he was mayor of Marikina and how an old professor of mine who also hails from there has been eyeing him as the only one credible to run for Vice-president or better yet as President of the entire country.
He argues that for one he has the political will to put things into place and put action on making his beloved municipality better. I believe it was way back in 2000 when people were running to and fro and looking at Marikina with inspiring awe with it besting all other municipalities in the country.

I don’t get it.
I just don’t get it.
When I was In high school if you wear rubber slippers in school you are considered part of the lower class, then came havaianas and the rest is history. At first you wouldn’t imagine having a rubber slippers being renamed to flip-flops just so it would sound more acceptable to higher classes ergo wearable. Not to mention the price which one could almost pay a boat fare to another island, I just find it inconceivable.

And since I can’t watch television because the t.v. I have in the apartment is a broken down-video-only type I have been out of circulation when it comes to watching the news which to my delight is enough to keep my sanity at least for now.
I remember what my professor in college once told me about having television as one of the main reasons for depression. You just have to look at the amount of beautiful models brandishing their how-to-be-white-in-ten-days commercials and soon you’ll be questioning yourself if your skin color is a curse or a blessing.

With the ongoing barrage of left and right debates on the MOA given out by the GRP and the MILF I have nothing else to say but this.
“If you want to know what the real situation is then go look at it in the eyes of the people living there.”
Thus my first point of inquiry is not by reading the agreement nor reading about what the Government and the senate is fighting about I called my good friend from Cotabato and asked him what was happening there and this he told me.
