“Entelechy is a particular type of motivation, need for self-determination, and an inner strength and vital force directing life and growth to become all one is capable of being. Gifted people with entelechy are often attractive to others who feel drawn to their openness and to their dreams and visions. Being near someone with this trait gives others hope and determination to achieve their own self-actualization.” – Psychologist Deirdre Lovecky
Its’ not that often that you find a psychological construct as wonderful and as beautiful as this, surprisingly I found this in a martial arts website.
Says a lot about what martial arts and the believers in it is really like, unfortunately for some their idea of practicing martial arts is all about hurting other people and protecting themselves while in fact it should serve as a mirror of the beauty of life.

Until recently Multiply one of the most famous social networking sites banned its music search function until it became deliberately upfront that they are not letting anybody download free music from their system instead have the listener listen to them in the same page the music file is in.
My thoughts: Pure B.S.
why offer it before in the first place only to pull it out afterwards?
What about free music? what about sharing?
I think they are trying to budge because of the big music industries complaining about their artists music being ripped off in the net and having their sales go down.
Tell you what for me the term piracy and intellectual property rights is all fine provided that it doesn’t rip off its customers too.
Who ever thought that a price of a cd will go down and have a lower price compared to 5 years back?
Each cassette tapes before costs about 150 pesos while a cd costs about 500 pesos each and now its only around 150 the same price as the cassette tape before.
Now don’t give me the crap that these music industries are really protecting its artists rights, a lot of artists lately has opted to have their own independent record label because of the seemingly ludicrous efforts of these record labels to sell.
One of the greatest bands in the world Radiohead has even opted to offer their online music for free giving the option for the listener to name the price of their music, truly a revolutionary feat and tells a lot about the future of the music industry.
The logic is reasonable, because artists become artists because they need to have others to appreciate their music therefore it works both ways, listeners should always have the chance to choose if they will listen to their music for free or not.
Face it, we live in a free world and if you asks people to pay for whatever piece of crappy album where you only want to listen to just one song furthermore launch a website that offers free music and take it out with proper disregard to its users is a complete failure.
It is good to support artists but don’t let music and talent be paid for. In other words it’s okay and fine to give the artists their due but don’t force people to pay for them, for such selfish ends by of course the big music industries.
As for multiply lets wait when it will have the music sharing function open, I’m guessing soon.
