Social Marketing is the next big thing in the SEO scene as more and more people are learning the ropes in social networking sites. But wait there’s more than creating a good website and profile.
1. The beautiful ones’ have more friends – Lets admit the prettier your friend is in your social network list the more friends that person has. In fact more and more people are “attracted” to have friends like them. So one way of creating your social internet circle is to have your most beautiful/handsome pic in your profile or better yet have a picture of somebody who’s fair enough to meet the eyes of the beholder. Remember “Beauty is Power” and the more beautiful you are the more people would want to be associated with you, sometimes there’s some truth in “Birds of the same feather stick together”
2. Take advantage of fan sites or better yet create one – Yes groupies have their way in the world and we can even call them your modern day disciples. One great way of enticing other people to go to your site is to create a buzz in the net. And there are hundreds or so topics in the internet you can capitalize in. Such groups as anime, movie fanatics, arts, schools etc… just about anything that one can imagine you bet a lot of people will be more than curious if they found out you like the same things they like. Create a fan profile for a certain comic book hero you never know one day it might be just another movie and you’ll be an instant millionaire.
3. Music is the king – music is the number one if not the best reason why people go online. Music has revolutionized the search engines as such that it even transcends videos. One might call it an institution that transcends cultures, music is forever clickable and sellable and sometimes free music (though napster had proven otherwise) earns a lot but take a look at social networking sites like multiply and you’ll see how many people download free music go ahead try it and you’ll get my drift.
