Dream Weddings

For the most part of my life I’ve never heard of any guy who talked at length about his dream wedding.

The weird thing is I’ve been trying to think about it ever since I was a kid, perhaps hanging mostly around my aunts influenced my point of view of relationships and yes, marriages.

So my dream wedding? Actually I have a number of them In mind here are some of them:

1. Beach Wedding – something like on a cliff overlooking the ocean at sunset.  or perhaps beside the ocean where we’ll walk together on the sea side towards the altar.

Three Social Networking Tweaks That Works!

dsc016731Social Marketing is the next big thing in the SEO scene as more and more people are learning the ropes in social networking sites. But wait there’s more than creating a good website and profile.

1. The beautiful ones’ have more friends – Lets admit the prettier your friend is in your social network list the more friends that person has. In fact more and more people are “attracted” to have friends like them. So one way of creating your social internet circle is to have your most beautiful/handsome pic in your profile or better yet have a picture of somebody who’s fair enough to meet the eyes of the beholder. Remember “Beauty is Power” and the more beautiful you are the more people would want to be associated with you, sometimes there’s some truth in “Birds of the same feather stick together”

Shot

you bounced back rapidly
with the negatives strewn beyond mountains
and oceans endearing to come back.

the lift is swift
with the conflagrations of roses
dreamt, sweeping, scalded.

the photograph resembled a planet
no. a lake perhaps
the sniffing sea and the mindful deer panicked.

the same goes with the boy who held his ice cream
they melt rapidly
as rapid as the amber that filled the sky.

roughly the same stone
or the same pixel
you lifted your lens and smiled.

“Its’ not yet done” you said
it should’ve held fast with the click
it should’ve held harder with the glasses.

“Moderating Greed”

“Jun, you moderate their greed.” – Secretary Neri to Jun Lozada on the NBN-ZTE deal.

When I read about this statement by Lozada I can’t help but remember a conversation I once had with my friend.

This friend of mine which we shall name Tin and I had a heated debate on the capacity of the current government to govern its people that we began comparing the misgivings of one government to the other starting with the one deposed by the current regime.

Creating Monsters

“It is not so much as trying to find a replacement that bothers me about GMA. I think its more of Filipinos having to tolerate corruption, massive killings of journalists and activists, GMA staying in one of the most expensive hotels in the world using the taxes of Filipinos. Nevermind the question of her legitimacy if Filipinos are tired of debating about it. Lets’ just focus more on how GMA runs the country then perhaps Filipinos would change their attitude towards her. Yet I might still be mistaken, perhaps we deserve somebody like GMA.”

Why Should You Outsource Your SEO In The Philippines?

Why Should You Outsource Your SEO In The Philippines?

By: Carol Bustos-Santiago
Outsourcing has evidently been the smart thing to do for American and European businesses even way before the onset of the global economic turmoil. At the turn of the century, customer service hotlines were directed to developing countries such as the Philippines and India. As a matter of fact, the strong demand for offshore call centers made Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) one of the leading industries in the Philippines today. As wages for professionals soar in an unstable economy, companies in the first world countries realized it would be highly beneficial for them to outsource other aspects of their businesses for obvious cost-effective reasons. In the recent years, web design, copywriting, content editing, search engine optimization and other professional services were sought from the Philippines.

Does Google AdSense Affect Rankings?

Does Google AdSense Affect Rankings?

For all I know Google adsense doesn’t affect ranking, unless your website is a Made for Adsense (MFA) site chances are if you have good content and good number of back links then you are on the safe side of Googles rankings.

But theres a downside in having Google Adsense:

1. Google Adsense have the tendency to steal your customers if you are affiliate marketer.

2. Google Adsense have the tendency to self regulate itself and mark you as spam even if you are really just as innocent as ever.  (I’ve heard lots of fellow SEO Specialist who experienced this problem)

Aspiring Philippine Presidential Candidates using the power of the internet and websites in their campaign

Aspiring Philippine Presidential Candidates using the power of the internet and websites in their campaign

dsc0167323There’s a war going on.

It is a war of information while leveraging the power of the internet in giving that information as fast and reliable to each and everyone’s desktops.

And now this war has finally come at the doorsteps and the attention of running Presidential candidates in the Philippines.

It is no secret that the power of the internet played a dramatic role in the campaign of Senator Chiz Escudero following the number of contacts and traffic he got from his social networking sites (friendster, facebook, etc) not to mention the direct traffic from his website and the simple link that catapulted him in today’s youth.
